Darlene Webb

Director of Health and Recovery Services
Darlene Webb began her career with ASK Wellness Society in 2020, first as the Coordinator of Population Health and subsequently moved into the role of Director of Health and Recovery Services. Since her arrival, she has worked with various teams within ASK Wellness Society, as well as many community groups and partners to strengthen the Health Navigation department. This collaboration has continued to foster stronger programs and healthier communities, as well as increased support options for individuals with blood borne infection and for the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

Within her current role as the Director of Recovery Services, Darlene oversees the growth and future expansions of the Maverick Supportive Recovery Center and Career Program in Kamloops, BC. Darlene aims to bring valuable recovery services to the BC Interior and to build a strong vocational training center for skills and training enhancements for any persons ready to embark on building their employment skills as part of their healing journey.

Darlene has worked in the Criminal Justice field as a registered Social Worker and Intensive Case Manager with persons on Federal Parole supervision for over 20 years, focusing on risk management and reintegration in the community. She possesses a strong commitment to be client centered, to recognize the importance of truth and reconciliation, and to provide ethical social work practice.

Darlene holds a Bachelor of Social Work from UVIC/UCC and is registered with the British Columbia Board of Registration of Social Workers of BC.
