Health outreach is a critical aspect of the continuum of services operated by ASK Wellness Society. This mobile health service allows accessible support to people who face barriers to primary health care in Kamloops and throughout the Interior of British Columbia. Working in partnership with TELUS Health for Good, the program complements the important work being done by the regional health authority. The ASK Wellness Mobile Health Clinic powered by TELUS Health regularly visits several locations in Kamloops, while also providing support to areas in Merritt twice per month. The program operates five days per week from Monday to Friday during standard business hours. With a nurse and outreach worker on board who have direct referral access to a Nurse Practitioner, the clinic team can help with physical and mental health, addictions, and additional resources or referrals.

Please note: The program’s mandate is to provide barrier-free access to healthcare for those who are precariously housed, facing homelessness, and/or are challenged by complex mental health and substance use issues. At this time, our services do not extend to those who do not meet those specific criteria.
