Through a contract with Community Living BC (CLBC), a provincial crown agency, we assist by delivering supports and services to adults with developmental disabilities, who may also be struggling with mental illness. This program helps to create communities where people have more choices about how they live, work and contribute.
The Community Drug Checking Service, in partnership with Interior Health Authority and the BC Centre for Substance Use, allows free testing of substance samples that is both fast and anonymous. The service makes use of the Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), to analyze and identify components within substances to increase awareness for individuals who use.
